The Yakima JetStream are aluminum heavy-duty crossbars. These guys are gonna hold up to 165 pounds. However, you definitely wanna make sure you check your vehicle for what the weight rating is for your roof. These guys have a channel on the inside here that allows you to use T-tracks. Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars Roof Rack Kit Installation - 2020 Jeep Cherokee- Video

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Bars on our 2020 Jeep Cherokee. When you get your Rhino-Rack kit for your Cherokee, it's gonna have two bars and four feet. Since you have the raised rails from Jeep, these guys are just basically gonna clamp around them using a cushioned pad and you just tighten down a bolt to fasten it. Looking at the bars themselves, these guys are about three inches wide, about an inch tall. And on my demonstration model, you see a channel at the top that's three eighths inches for a T slot. And you're also going to have a rubber gasket that fits in there to help reduce the wind noise as well as a rubber spacer at the bottom of the bar. more

This is a roof rack system that will mount to the raised side rails of your Cherokee, that's going to allow you to get your favorite rooftop accessories loaded up, whether you got a bike rack, a kayak carrier, or even a cargo box.Up top we have our 47 inch long square bar crossbars from Thule, now these are a bit of an upgrade from their old square bar setup, being that we have a channel on the bottom side of our square bar. So our Evo Raised Rail Feet can slide right into that channel, and it doesn't take up any type of space on top of our crossbar. Now, we have very little cross bar overhang with this setup, so if you do want that extra two to three inches on each side, you can upgrade to the 53 inch crossbars, those are available here at etrailer.We also have our Evo Raised Rail Feet that's holding our crossbars to our raised side rails. more

Now, the reason you're gonna want a roof rack for you Cherokee is that it will allow you to bring a lot more of your gear and cargo with you, be it from bike racks to cargo boxes, to water sports carriers, it doesn't matter, anything that they make that can go on a roof rack will fit on this.Now, one thing that I really love about this is that it's already preassembled and ready to go out of the box. We don't have to worry about getting any special adapters to go over our factory-raised rails or have to worry about assembling anything, no special feat, kit, or anything like that. We just throw it on top of the roof, make a few measurements, and tighten it on down, and we're good to go.Now, the great thing about it, being that it's aluminum, it's super lightweight so that makes it easy for us to manipulate it and get it over the roof, and don't have to worry about it coming in contact with the roof and potentially scratching the paint. Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee, we're gonna be test-fitting the Thule aeroblade edge roof rack system consisting of part numbers TH7501-TH7502, and these are the aeroblade edge roof racks for the factory rate side rails. These also come in black as TH7501B-TH7502B. The Thule aeroblade edge is a great roof rack for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space in your vehicle and it has a nice factory roof look to it. It can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, ski and snowboard carriers, and with the rubber strip on the top combined with the aerodynamic shape of the bar, will cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving.The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, though you always should double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Once you remove your end caps, you can see that it is available to be used with T track accessories. Putting that back into place, it also has the knockouts to replace it with the Thule lock core system so you can actually have key to like locks with both your roof rack as well as your rooftop accessories.Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee, you're gonna be taking a look at the Rola Sports Series Roof Rack with REX mounting systems for flush factory side rails in silver. Part number 59682.Our Rola Roof Rack is gonna mount to our factory side rails and it's gonna allow us to mount a wide variety of accessories, maximizing our cargo-carrying capacity.Now, we all know that roof rack systems can cause a little bit of noise when we're driving. But that's where the elliptical shape of our crossbars is gonna come into play. It's not only gonna reduce wind noise and drag, but it's also gonna give us a low profile design.The rubber strip up here is not only gonna give us a nice contact point for our gear to mount up to, but also, we put the included key and remove the end cap, we can remove the weather stripping and expose the T-track to put in any T-track accessories that we'd like.Our crossbars are gonna be made of an aluminum construction, which means it's gonna be nice and easy to lift up and get them in place and they're also gonna be anodized, so they're not only gonna look good for a long time, but they're also gonna be rust-proof.The crossbars themselves are gonna be 3 1/8" wide by 1" tall. Now, the overhang from our factory side rail here is gonna be roughly about 4 1/2". With that, we're gonna have plenty of room to mount plenty of accessories, but we're also not gonna have to worry about hitting our head when we're getting in and out of our Jeep.Our crossbars are gonna have a minimum of 27 1/2" of spread that they're gonna need to be mounted. more

So here's what our Cross Road Roof Rack looks like when it's fully installed. This is going to free up a lot of space on the inside of our car, allowing us to mount it to the roof and making more room for passengers and pets.Now our system is designed to mount directly to your factory side rails and instillation is going to be super easy, because it's already pre-assembled so we're not going to have to put it together. One of the features you're really going to appreciate is the rubber coating that's going to be on the bottom of our foot pack. Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee, we're doing a test of the Thule roof rack kit. This is going to consist of the Thule aeroblade crossbars, part number THARV53 and the Thule rapid crossroad footpack, part number TH450R. Now we already have our front bar installed. We're going to show you how to put our back bar together and then how we install it onto our vehicle. We've already got one of our footpacks in place. We're just going to show you that last one. Thule Roof Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Thule roof rack system, consisting of part numbers TH7501TH7502. These are the Thule aeroblade edge roof racks for factory raised side rails. These are aluminum in color, we also have them in black as part number TH7501BTH7502B. We have the front one installed already. The bars themselves have a nice aerodynamic shape to them, which is going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. It also has a nice factory look to it once it's installed. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the NO Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers INB117. These are the NO square cross bars and part number INFR and these are the NO feet for the square cross bars, particularly for factory raised side rails. We already have our front one installed. These are nice, sturdy bars and once the other set is actually installed, it's going to have the carrying capacity of 220 pounds. Although you'll always want to double check with your vehicles instructions to make sure that it can withstand that weight on the roof. We also have these end caps here with these locks already installed, so once you install this onto your roof, you can lock it into place and it's secure, plus you can use this with other vehicles that have factory raised side rails. Inno Roof Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee INXB100-108- Video

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Aero Crossbar Roof Rack System, comprised of part numbers INXB100 and INXB108, those are going to be the crossbars, and then the Inno Flush Feet, part number INXS100. Now, this is designed for factory raised side rails as you can see, and we have the front one already installed. It has a nice aerodynamic shape, which is going to cut down wind noise and drag. With the 2 bars together, you have a weight capacity of 165 pounds, although you want to double check with your manufacturer's manual to make sure your vehicle can take those weights. Also at the end here we have these lockable end caps, and that's going to ensure security and deter theft and tampering with your rack once you have it installed. Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for our crossbars that we're using today is RRVA126B-2. RockyMounts Roof Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the Rocky Mount's Ouray cross bars with our flagstaff towers. Inno Aero Bar Installation - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, were going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Aero Base Rack. This is going to be your rooftop-mounted rack thats going to go on top of our factory rails that we have here today. As you can see, weve already got one installed and the part number is INXB108 which is going to be the front bar thats already installed. This bar here is going to be INXB100 which is a shorter bar because the factory rails narrow at the backside. Were going to have our feet which are going to be INXS100. These are all going to be all of our feet pads together to combine our whole Inno Aero Base Rack. To put it all together, you can see we already got one side on over here. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule AeroBlades, part number THARB53 as well as the foot pack for the Aero Blade Rack System for the Fit for this vehicle which is going to be part number TH450R. If we take a look at the foot you'll notice that it does come with the tool already connected and it will be a nice sleek foot pack. Let's go ahead and put it on here or get it put on here and show you how it fits on the vehicle like we have the black one. When first putting it on you're going to pull off the end cap, like so. Place the grooves inside the channel and this vehicle make sure you check with the Fit Guide from Thule or the manual that you have. Where everything needs to be set for your particular Fit. In our case we're going to kind of we're just going to make the bar spread between 24 and 32 inches. On the bar since there is a quite a bit of room and it comes out pretty soon, where you can move from side to side. For our bar spread we're going to go 32 inches. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Cherokee- Video

Today on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be test fitting the Yakima RailGrab Roof Rack System. We're using the forty-eight inch round bars, those are part number Y00408 and the Yakima RailGrab Foot Kit, that's part number Y00138. To begin our test fit we're going to place the front half of our rack up here under the front roof line of our vehicle. It looks like we're going to need a little more room there so let me . There we go. We need to loosen this up enough to where the inside clip will come around the underside of our bar here. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Cherokee THARB53- Video

Today on our 2014 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System. We're using the 53 inch Aero Blades, part number THARB53 and the Rapid Crossroads Foot Packs, part number TH450R. To begin our test fit, we're going to place the front bar here on the front roof line of our vehicle. We're going to want to find a fixed point, in our case today, we're going to be using the oval shaped cover here on the front. We're going to measure from the rear of that back to the leading edge of our foot pack 6 inches. We'll do this measurement on both sides. This is to ensure that we have our feet in line with one another. more
